WHAT TO EXPECT
Your first visit, from hello to home.
Your first visit, from hello to home.
Knowing what's ahead makes the first appointment easier. Here is the whole arc.
Before your appointment
Your first visit begins with a conversation. Sarah reviews your health history, current concerns, previous injuries or surgeries, lifestyle, and goals. Her nursing experience means your medications and medical history are part of the picture, not an afterthought.
How to prepare
- Wear comfortable athletic shorts, and a sports bra or tank top if appropriate
- Skip lotions and oils on treatment days
- Drink plenty of water beforehand
- Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in
During your session
You'll remain comfortably positioned while Sarah gently evaluates areas of fascial restriction. Sustained hands-on techniques are applied without oils or lotions, allowing fascia to soften and release naturally. Each session follows your body's unique patterns, never a routine.
You may notice warmth, stretching, tingling, easier movement, or temporary discomfort as restrictions release. Some people also experience emotional responses, which can be a very normal part of healing. Communication is encouraged the whole way through, and sessions are never rushed.
After your session
Many people feel lighter, looser, or more relaxed right away. Others notice changes over the next several days as the body adapts. Temporary soreness or fatigue, sometimes called a healing response, is normal and generally short-lived.
Supporting your recovery
- Drink plenty of water
- Take a gentle walk if you feel able
- Avoid strenuous activity for the rest of the day
- Notice changes in posture, movement, and how you feel
- Reach out with any questions after your visit
